Top 5 Toys for Toddlers

With these suggestions your home will no longer be filled with dozens of unused toys but meaningful ones instead. Happy Playing!

  1. Kitchen

Yes this is my absolute favorite and not just for girls! This is especially great if you have two little ones at home. A kitchen allows them to cook together, serve, play restaurant and even host meals for their stuffed animals. If your two little ones can’t get along together this is the best place for them! Don’t forget to have a child sized table in the same area so they have a place for their meals.

  2. Dolls

Wash them, dress them, put them to bed in a crib, the possibilities are endless! It teaches children empathy and allows them to be the ‘mom and dad’ for a change.

  3. Play Dough

Home made is the best! It’s great for all of their senses, except maybe don’t eat it! Your little ones can create anything they think of! If you are really adventurous bring the play dough in their play kitchen area. Play dough with allow them to strengthen their fine motor skills which is what you need for them to be able to write.

  4. Easel

Grab some Q-Tips, cotton balls, toothbrushes, sponges - basically anything you can find around the house and use it on the easel. It will never get boring!

  5. Blocks

Wooden ones are ideal! However, cardboard ones will work too. Don’t waste your money on the foam ones, they are not engaging at all! This will allow them to understand the basics of geometry and math.
